The State of Florida rejects an prohibition on the allocation of public funds for abortion

 On Tuesday 6 November, "the American State of Florida rejected the proposal of a referendum aimed at prohibiting the allocation of public funds to finance abortion." According to the television channels CNN and NBC, "the ‘no’ votes against the proposal won with 55% against it and 45% in favour – out of 96% of the votes counted." The proposal in the referendum was designed "to ban any use of public funds to finance abortions in the State, except in the case of rape, incest or danger to the life of the mother."
