Ohio : the governor opposes a draft bill which bans abortion after detecting a foetal heart beat

Publié le 13 Jan, 2017

In the US State of Ohio, the Senate approved a draft bill banning abortion after the detection of a foetal heart beat, usually around six weeks after conception. The draft bill was sent to the Chamber for approval.

Eventually, Ohio Governor, John Kasich, opposed this draft bill for the second time. In fact, he has already voiced his opposition in the past on the grounds of constitutional issues.
