In March, he called for a review of the current abortion law on the pretext of fighting against “non-medical, backstreet abortions“. King Mohammed VI met with the Minister of Justice and Freedom, the Minister of Islamic Affairs and the President of the National Council for Human Rights. He gave them a month to put forward their proposals.
