Publié le 29 Jan, 2018

In the context of restricted access to abortion in Poland (see Poland: One hundred MPs demand the Constitutional Court to challenge exceptions to abortionPoland: draft bill to ban eugenic abortions), a draft bill seeking to extend access to abortion was rejected on Wednesday, 17 January.

This bill covered access to abortion up to the twelfth week of pregnancy for psychological and social reasons, the introduction of sex education in schools and free access to the “morning after pill” (see Poland: morning after pill available once again on prescription).
