In India, a 10 year-old girl over 20′ weeks pregnant following repeated rape is requesting an abortion. The AFP reported that the doctors dealing with this case“decided to perform an abortion” . In India, the law authorises abortion up to 20 weeks. Over the last few months, “a certain number of women” have filed similar requests to the authorities because India “has a shocking record in terms of rape”.
