On Sunday 24 March the fourth "March for Life" was held in Brussels (Belgium), with as its theme "the freedom of conscience of medical personnel." It brought together "about 500 people" according to the police.
The organisers stated that "some Belgian MPs want to prevent doctors from caring for their patient in honour and conscience" and "would like to deny the possibility of conscientious objection to care facilities and doctors who refuse euthanasia." Though this demonstration, the "March for Life" "intended to denounce any restriction on the freedom of conscience of medical care personnel."
