Publié le : 28 February 2014

A petition signed by over 200,000 Europeans including almost 5,000 Belgians was presented to King Philippe of Belgium on Thursday 20 February, beseeching him not to sign the law authorising euthanasia for minors in this country. According to the Palace spokesman, Pierre-Emmanuel de Bauw, the king acknowledges the situation.

Launched two weeks ago by the Citizen Go Foundation, the petition stresses the fact that this new Belgian legislation on euthanasia is "the most frightening in the whole world".
