Adult stem cells treat stroke patients

Publié le : 7 March 2014

The STC Life Co. stem cell research institute and 97.7 B&H Clinic have succeeded in treating stroke patients with mesenchymal stem cells and adult stem cells. Patients were given five intravenous injections, two weeks apart.

Patients who received this treatment "experienced a significant reduction in the symptoms of paralysis such as speech disorders and paralysis of the arms and legs". After the second treatment, wheelchair patients were capable of walking without any aid. In addition, "the speech of some patients improved by over 90%". Finally, some patients with facial nerve paralysis "experienced an 80% recovery".

No side effects were observed with any of these improvements.
