Abortion: Oklahoma following in the steps of Kansas

Publié le 8 Apr, 2015

The day after the State of Kansas prohibited second trimester abortions, for the first time in the United States, the chambers in the neighbouring State of Oklahoma passed an identical bill.

The Senate just voted for the Dismemberment Abortion Act – the name given to the foetus dismemberment procedure for an abortion after 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Governor Mary Fallin must sign this bill in order for it to take effect.  This should be relatively straightforward since she advocates restrictions relating to abortion.
