A European convention bill to halt the trafficking of human organs

 At the Council of Europe, the main organisation involved in defending human rights, a European convention bill against the trafficking of human organs is currently in the pipeline and could come into force in 2014. The aim would be to sanction those who force people to donate or sell their organs. Middle men and corrupt surgeons are mainly involved. The text also broaches the subject of transplantation tourism.
